Washing and disinfecting the mats on Saturday
COVID-19 is an unprecedented event and we are taking guidance on cleaning and disinfecting from the CDC and other public health professionals. Park Circle Jiu-Jitsu is committed to the health and safety of our members. As public health officials continue to update their guidance, we will update our practices. We will communicate here, on our Facebook Group page and through e-mail. If you have questions, please talk to us.
Everyone entering the gym must have a normal body temperature, have no symptoms of
COVID-19 and no known contacts with anyone testing positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days. Vulnerable populations are asked to stay home until it is deemed safe to return.
Stepped-up our hygiene routines. We are using hospital grade cleaners throughout the gym and Mat Attack mat cleaner after classes. Mat Attack is a disinfectant and virucide with claims against similar pathogens to the coronavirus.
We have hand sanitizer stations available throughout the gym and antibacterial soap in the
bathrooms. Hands must be washed or sanitized prior to stepping onto the mat.
Shortened Classes. Our on-site classes will be shortened by 10 minutes to allow for people to enter and exit the facility without overcrowding.
Take your belongings with you when you leave. Clothing, water bottles etc. will be disposed
of if left behind.
Bring your own equipment. You always wanted to get a new fresh gi anyway. Now is
exactly the right time. All equipment should be washed and sanitized before and after class.
